Digital vs Fast Fashion

Digital Fashion

The fashion industry is always changing with endless cycles of trends. This year, however, has changed the industry in the most unexpected way yet. With Covid raging through the world, and global warming becoming increasingly more important, fashion has been forced to change the way it functions. In order to find solutions to both of these pressing issues, many fashion brands have transitioned to digital methods of functioning.

This might look like digital try-on apps, artificial intelligence (social media), or digital methods of actually producing the clothing. By making this transition, fashion brands are able to protect the planet, keep customers and employees safe, and provide unique clothing for their customers.

Two entrepreneurs took a unique interpretation of digital fashion. They created a company called Dress-X that produces solely digital clothing. If you wanted to post on your Instagram in a new outfit, Dress-X could provide that without the hassle of finding a unique outfit and going out to buy it. Imagine having a completely new outfit with the snap of your finger; Dress-X is a dream come true.
